May I have this Dance?

I started listening to some waltz music the other day and I came across this one titled "Waves of the Danube" on Spotify, it's under Johann Strauss II and performed by the Gran Orquestra Vienesa.

If you listen to the beginning it kind of sounds like somebody is moping around at a ball, dancing with someone they don't like. It reminded me of Frollo stuck at some party he'd rather not be at. As it continues to 0:36 it begins to pick up to this cheery state that reminds me of something feminine dancing, you hear the deep cello in background as if it is observing whatever that cheery energy is. I imagined Esme and Clopin on the dance floor showing everyone up by that point and the Judge trying his hardest to dance closer to them to get to Esme. When it climaxes at 1:40 you hear it almost stumble as if they both ran into each other and started to dance. Most songs have a story in mind and this was my own take.

Why was Esme and Clopin at a stately ball in the first place? Because the Baron likes Gypsy music and he invited them to play so they got to dance WOOOOO.
